Our story

Care that actually listens.

Peak HRT was built because too many patients had been told their labs were "normal" while they kept feeling worse. Fatigue dismissed. Hormones overlooked. Recovery treated as an afterthought. The kind of care that checks a box but doesn't change how you feel.

We started with a different premise: that the people walking through our door want to perform at work, in the mountains, with their families, and that medicine should match that ambition. So we built a clinic around it. Comprehensive labs. Real conversations. Treatment plans designed around your goals, not a template.

Whether you're optimizing for performance at altitude, reclaiming energy through midlife, or recovering from a hard week of skiing, climbing, or training, we meet you where you are and build from there.

Rebecca Miskew, MS APRN A-GNP-C, founder and provider at Peak HRT
Your provider

Rebecca Miskew.

MS · APRN · A-GNP-C

I didn't build Peak HRT from a textbook. I built it from lived experience — over a dozen orthopedic surgeries, my own hormone journey, a decade of personal peptide use, and 16+ years of clinical practice. I know what it feels like to have a provider hand you a prescription instead of an answer. That's exactly what I refuse to do.

I'm a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, certified in hormone replacement and peptide therapy, and a competitive bodybuilder with 15+ years of strength training in addition to a nutrition and fitness coaching background. I founded Peak HRT & IV Drip Lounge to give patients in Summit County access to the kind of care that actually moves the needle.

I work with patients across all walks of adult life, from teenager to retiree. Whether you're a perimenopausal woman ready to reclaim your vitality, a man over 40 who wants his edge back, an athlete pushing through injury, or anyone who's struggled with their weight and is done accepting mediocre results — there's a place for you here.

My approach combines bioidentical hormone replacement, testosterone therapy, peptides, GLP-1 weight loss protocols, IV infusions, and recovery modalities like red light therapy, infrared sauna, and Normatec compression — always paired with the lifestyle and behavioral work that makes results stick long-term. I track everything with InBody and Styku body composition scanning so progress is measurable, not just a feeling or based on a scale.

I don't accept insurance because great care requires time, and time is the first thing insurance takes away. My patients come here because they hold themselves to a higher standard — and they deserve a provider who does too.

The team

Care from every angle.

Rebecca leads the clinical work. Behind her, a small team of nurses and care coordinators makes sure every visit, lab, and follow-up runs the way it should.

Jamie has a passion for learning medicine and providing patient-centered care. Currently a senior nursing student at Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge, Jamie also works as an EMT and is especially interested in a holistic approach to health — with a focus on nutrition, identifying root causes, and supporting healing through both traditional and complementary approaches. Jamie originally moved to Summit County for the winters but stayed for the summers. When not working or studying, Jamie can usually be found outside hiking, climbing, camping, or snowboarding, often with a dog in tow, and is always up for baking a new recipe or chasing a new adventure.

Abby, Registered Nurse at Peak HRT

Abby

Registered Nurse
RN

Abby has called Summit County home for the past six years after spending nine years as a travel nurse, where she gained extensive experience caring for patients in a variety of clinical settings throughout the country. She brings a strong clinical background, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others achieve their health goals. Abby enjoys connecting with patients and helping them feel comfortable, supported, and cared for throughout their wellness journey. When she's not caring for patients, Abby can usually be found exploring the mountains and making the most of Colorado's outdoor lifestyle — especially if a dog is involved.
